NAISDA welcomes Iquail Shaheed and Santee Smith - 02.03.16

Our DAs have enjoyed new challenges this term, with two internationally renowned choreographers visiting NAISDA to teach new skills, movements and cultures.

Iquail Shaheed from DANCE IQUAIL! will be teaching the Horton technique at NAISDA for the rest of the term and the remarkable Santee Smith from Kaha:wi Dance Theatre was with us for two days on Monday 29 February and Tuesday 1 March, teaching Canadian Aboriginal dance.

NBN visited the College to interview both Iquail and Santee, also dropping in on one of our classes.
